Continued from unknownstd.freeforums.net/thread/2/unknown-mystery-virus-infectious-disease in case it gets shutdown. With a hope of bettering communication this forum will have more then one moderated threads. This forum is for all those suffering from an unidentified chronic and contagious disease which creates very specific symptoms. Condition is also dubbed an HIV-Like virus, or fake-AIDS in China. It is described on this page - sites.google.com/site/newhivaidslikeviruschina/View a video of patients here: youtu.be/Ef1oJ9v5ZVI The aim of this forum is to act as a central meeting place for sufferers to discuss treatments and share stories/test results/findings, to continue the discussion started here - unknownstd.freeforums.net/thread/2/unknown-mystery-virus-infectious-disease The overriding goal of this forum is to get enough people together to put pressure on scientists and researchers to identify this new pathogen. A list of symptoms can be attributed to this disease. Not all symptoms appear in all disease sufferers, but high % of symptoms listed below usually do appear on onset during progression of this condition. This disease is almost certainly the same as the mystery Chinese HIV-like virus detailed here: sites.google.com/site/newhivaidslikeviruschina/. However it would appear that this condition has now spread to other parts of the world. Pathogen seems to be passed through bodily fluids and touch, but could also be airborne. Severity of symptoms depends on how it was transmitted and the individual's predisposition. Current suspected culprits are: retrovirus, Mycoplasma/eperythrozoon, fungi like Malassezia Restricta. Many other bacterial, viral, fungal, protozoan infections have been discussed over the years and cannot be ruled out.

With a few other patients over the last year or so we have collected what I think is close to the most complete list of symptoms of this thing to date. It is based on the list from old forum and can now be found here. Please add whatever you think was missed in there.

I'm just desperate. I got up this morning with pains in the ankle on the right side. I noticed that the ankle is very swollen and very sensitive to the touch and slightly red. I think I have arthritis. In four days I have a bone-mapping test to enitre body. I believe the test will confirm that I have arthritis. In addition, I have an appointment for a rheumatologist on September 12. Also, a week ago I had a mapping of the salivary glands because I feel that my mouth is constantly dry and I have no saliva. The results of the saliva mapping test revealed that my salivary glands almost did not work at all, and there was a significant decrease in the function of the salivary glands, parotis and swabandibularity.
I attach a picture of my ankle:

Lior, Dont Panic, this will improve with diet. You need to take raw small onion everyday morning in empty stomach. This will improve your salivary gland capability & insulin qualities. Drink more water specifically warm water. Dont eat or drink anything cold.
I had your problems and passed in a week time.
Hope this helps.

The original forums (recently shutdown) were a byproduct of these forums in this link here dating back to 2010. You can see the very first post advertising he was starting the forums that he only recently shut down. His name was wilson10 on this board. For all those hoping for a backlog of some data (not necessarily all). Here is something to look at. I feel it’s worth noting Many of the original regulars on the last forums that were shut down migrated from the ehealthforums. There are nearly 400 pages of unedited history here w the exception of links. (It’s also noteworthy to mention tony Dewitt flooded this board for a while. If his beliefs are not your beliefs then just skim right past his posts. I eventually did) also feel free to scroll to the bottom of the page in the links and jump back to the first post in 2010 n read through ehealthforum.com/health/certain-hiv-positive-but-negative-tests-t229803_228.htmlSorry I accidentally posted this in the symptoms portion of the forum

There are many people there who are still extremely obsessed about HIV and some keep claiming to be 100% HIV+ even after years of negative tests. Some members even dig some scary testimonies of people who allegedly seroconverted years after being exposed. That's why I stopped checking-in there.

Not sure if I’ve got the same thing buts here’s my story. Unprotected genital contact and unprotected oral with a massage girl. 8 days later started having burning sensation in penis & high urinary frequency. Started to panic & began testing, everything has been negative (tested weekly for first 14 weeks) to date. Became very depressed & anxious. Strange symptoms kicked from the 2 week, burning sensation on legs & feet. Sores in nose. Burning eyes, burning tongue. Mouth ulcers. Developed an ulcer on my rectum. Lost 10kg in 4 weeks. Went to several GP’s, two urologists and the sexual health Centre. They all cleared me of std’s & said it was all in my head. Week four diagnosed with very early throat cancer, then diagnosed with inflamed prostate. Pain in my penis & bottom are the worst. Now at the 7 month mark and have developed pain in both knees & wrists. At month 6 I was diagnosed with HPV from a biopsy the urologist did, had liquid nitrogen which seemed to work for the pain but it only last a couple of weeks. How long has penis pain & urinary symptoms lasted for you guys who have this for a long time? Hey guys, just trying to work out how to post without quoting someone else! I’m new to the forum but had followed the old one until it was shut down. I went off line for a while because my symptoms had significantly reduced but now they’re back! Father’s Day here in Australia & I’m feeling very depressed about my situation. Have probably destroyed my marriage & am fearful of passing this to my kids. The mental side to this thing is so hard to deal with, particularly when the medical profession keep telling you there is nothing wrong with you. Anyway I plan to check in semi-regularly & hope this forum stays on track without too much crazy stuff. United & sharing information is the only way forward.

I've been trying to find a direct explanation for my most significant symptom: Loss of fat in the face. I hope that by explaining that, I can find the root cause of this illness. I am trying to find evidence of the possibility that the adipose tissue (fat) itself is infected. These articles show that adipocytes (fat cells) can be infected with and act as long-term reservoirs for various pathogens, including Trypanosoma cruzi (the cause of Chagas Disease), Tuberculosis, malaria, and C. Pneumoniae: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1828569/journals.plos.org/plospathogens/article?id=10.1371/journal.ppat.1006676There is some suggestion that maybe the adipose tissue is a kind of holding area to isolate/segregate the pathogen from the rest of the body. This article suggest that fat cells are actually part of the immune system. Suggesting that maybe as our body fat decreases we could become even more vulnerable to whatever pathogen is causing this: academic.oup.com/endo/article/152/11/4148/2457059I don't know how a lab would test for pathogens in adipose tissue (preferably in the face). Maybe by biopsy with a needle, followed by a culture. The tissue should also be tested for cytokines I think. Does anyone have any ideas for having fat tested?
