UID disease is characterized by generalized inflammation accompanied by increase in inflammatory markers. TNF and other cytokines seem to increase dramatically after infection. This thread is intended to help gather information about which tests should be used to monitor the progress and outcome of possible treatment approaches as well as the condition itself.

"A point that i discussed couple of times in the last forum is having some immune results in common so we can make the doctors look to our cases
A full Cytokines panel should be run which will show that your body is under a chronic inflammatory response which is only shown in people with chronic infections ( HIV , Hep B or C ) or autoimmune conditions !
this was my cytokines panel : IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, IL-17,IL-2, IL-4, TNF, TGF-β1, MIP-1β mRNA ,IL-2, IL-4, IFNγ mRNA
Note : some labs run less or different bands , from my experience and other old patients the first 7 bands are the most important !
other inflammatory markers tests are: C3A serum , C4A serum
there are other tests but it wont be easy to find them except in research labs which Chinese patients had , so lets try to push the group here for those tests only , and as i mentioned it will point a finger to a medical issue which doctor wont be able to dismiss either by searching for a chronic infection or a autoimmune condition
regards"
